Shelyna Mariscal

Shelyna Mariscal is a Partner at Hansells and leads the Residential Conveyancing team, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to her role. A graduate of Essex University, Shelyna earned her European Law Degree after an enriching year of study in Denmark. She completed her legal training at York Law School and began her career at Hansells as a trainee in 1994. Qualifying as a solicitor in 1996, Shelyna advanced to become a Partner in 2005.

In 2018, Shelyna took on the leadership of the Residential Conveyancing department, where her innovative approach has been instrumental in enhancing the case management system, driving client satisfaction, and expanding the department’s reach. She is deeply committed to guiding her team to deliver an exceptional customer experience and consistently exceed client expectations.

Before leading the Residential Conveyancing team, Shelyna formerly headed the Personal Injury department, managing a wide range of cases from minor injuries to personal injury claims. Her ability to handle complex and sensitive matters with professionalism has been a hallmark of her career.

Shelyna is also a past president of the Norwich and Norfolk Law Society, a role that reflects her commitment to the legal profession and the local community. Her presidency underscores her leadership, vision, and dedication to the advancement of legal services in the region.

Operating from both the Norwich and North Walsham offices, Shelyna is passionate about building strong client relationships and fostering a supportive team environment.
