Mel White

Mel is a Solicitor in the Wills, Trusts and Lifetime Planning Team, advising clients from our Norwich and Aylsham offices. With more than 20 years' experience advising individuals and families to plan for the future, protect their assets and navigate complex legal matters with confidence.

After graduating from the University of Edinburgh and completing her legal studies at Nottingham Law School, Mel qualified as a Solicitor in 2003. Before specialising in private client work, she developed significant expertise in family law and the law relating to special educational needs (SEN), helping individuals and families navigate complex and often challenging situations. She now brings this experience to her work in wills, probate, estate administration and inheritance planning, supporting clients with practical advice and compassionate guidance through some of life's most significant and sensitive events.

Mel is known for her calm, approachable and empathetic manner, taking the time to understand each client's circumstances and provide practical, tailored advice. As a CMC Registered Mediator, she is also skilled in helping families and individuals resolve disputes constructively, focusing on achieving positive and cost-effective outcomes.

Whether preparing a will, creating a Lasting Power of Attorney, administering an estate or planning for the future, Mel is committed to delivering clear guidance and peace of mind at every stage of the process.
