Eve Staton

Eve is a Solicitor Apprentice  in our Court of Protection Team, working with Sam Loombe to help clients in respect of Court of Protection applications, managing the affairs of people who have lost capacity, and lasting powers of attorney. She is based in our Cambridge House, Norwich, office.

Eve's academic journey reflects her passion for knowledge and learning new things. She completed her undergraduate studies in History at the University of Nottingham and then went on to study a Master’s degree in Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies at the University of East Anglia. Her academic background enriches her ability to approach legal matters with a well-rounded perspective.

Having joined Hansells in 2022 as a Support Assistant to the Central Services Team, Eve quickly demonstrated her capabilities and  joined the Court of Protection team in 2023. In her continuous pursuit of professional development, Eve embarked on a Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship with BPP University in 2024, demonstrating her commitment to advancing her legal career. In 2025 Eve completed the Professional Deputies Forum Foundation Tier Accreditation Programme demonstrating her commitment to continuous development in Court of Protection work and providing excellent service to clients.

Outside of work, Eve has a profound love for literature and the outdoors. She can either be found with her nose in a book or walking on one of Norfolk’s beautiful beaches. She also enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
