Sara Young

Sara Young is a Solicitor in the Wills, Trusts & Lifetime Planning department and spends her time in both the North Walsham and Norwich offices.

Sara first joined Hansells in 2000 as a Trainee Solicitor before relocating overseas, moving to Hong Kong, where she worked for a British law firm specialising in inheritance tax planning for high net-worth clients.

Sara then moved to Singapore, where she worked for a US hedge fund company and then to Australia.  In 2010, she returned to Hong Kong, where she set up her own e-commerce business.  Sara is now back in Norwich and rejoined Hansells in 2022.

Sara is a graduate of Economics and Business from the University of Hull.  She completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Law, the law conversion course at UEA and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, York.

Outside of work, Sara is an avid cricket player and represented the Hong Kong Cricket Club.  She is a batter/wicketkeeper and has even played at Lords!  Now, Sara enjoys DIY and spending time with her daughters.
