Miranda Punter (she/her) is an Associate Solicitor specialising in Corporate and Commercial law, with niche experience advising on sports‑related sponsorship matters. With over 18 years’ commercial expertise, she supports businesses across a wide range of sectors, including sport, media and sponsorship.
She has particular strength in drafting and negotiating sponsorship agreements, having acted on high‑profile arrangements across rugby, football and motor racing. Her sports related sponsorship work is underpinned by a strong commercial approach, ensuring sponsorships are structured to support long‑term business objectives.
She specialises in trade mark law, helping you protect and commercialise your intellectual property, and provides guidance on ASA compliance for promotional and sponsorship activity. In addition, Miranda supports businesses with website terms, app terms and digital platforms, privacy and cookie policies, and wider compliance matters, including obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Miranda also advises on consumer contracts and business-to-business contracts such as supply, service, subcontractor distribution, licensing and media production agreements, as well as partnership agreements, shareholder agreements and providing support with business succession planning ad M&A work.
Drawing on significant in‑house experience with a FTSE 100 company, including roles in international financial and marine services organisations, Miranda brings practical commercial insight to managing contracts and business relationships.
