Louise Westby
With over a decade of experience in the legal field, Louise Westby has been a qualified solicitor since November 2009. Before that, she was a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives (FILEX). Her journey in law began at the University of East Anglia, where she earned her law degree, followed by the Legal Practice Course at the Inns of Court School of Law.
Louise has a well-rounded background, having worked for both the Defendant and Claimant sides. She has previously served as a solicitor for household insurers and worked for Thompsons, a Union solicitors firm. Her experience allows her to approach cases uniquely, ensuring comprehensive and effective legal representation.
Educational background
Louise attended Wymondham College for both her GCSEs and A-levels. She furthered her education by qualifying as a FILEX; and pursued a law degree at the University of East Anglia (UEA), where she achieved a 2:1.
During her Legal Practice Course at Inns of Court School of Law, she excelled in every subject and earned an overall distinction, earning her the reputation of the Cavendish Law Prize for the best first-year results.

Her extensive experience encompasses a wide range of industrial diseases, including repetitive back strain injuries, noise-induced hearing loss, acoustic shock, Tenosynovitis (specific to repetitive strain injuries), HAVS (Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome caused by excessive use of vibrating hand tools), and more.
Outside The Office
Beyond her legal career, Louise is actively involved in her community. She serves as a Brown Owl for the 5th Attleborough Brownie pack and volunteers in a youth outreach project in Attleborough. Louise is passionate about traveling and has been on safari trips to South Africa and Kenya, where she had the opportunity to experience diverse cultures. She also practices Yoga, enjoys baking, especially brownies and carrot cake, has a love for Middle Eastern and Turkish cuisine, is a cheese enthusiast, and finds pleasure in reading and listening to music.
